9 months postpartum. And my babe is about to have spent more time outside my body than inside it.
When do you stop being postpartum? I don't think you do, really. (Although perhaps it resets with subsequent pregnancies!)
Everyone is different but I think lots, if not most, pregnant people will find their bodies irrevocably changed by pregnancy and birth. This doesn't have to be a bad thing, of course. Our bodies are irrevocably changed by lots of things. Those things we choose and those things we have no choice over. The goal for me is learning to make peace with that. I will say, it does become easier the older I get (40 next year, crumbs)
