When life feels hard, I need to create small things with my hands. Little portable projects that are easy to pick up and put down. This little collection of scrappy pouches has emerged over the last few months. I'm not really sure what their purpose is yet, but stitching them together brings me peace and they are pleasing to look at hanging in the garden, like little colourful fruits. Some I have filled with small treasures like stones, crystals, little scraps of fabric. Some are empty waiting to be filled.
All fabric used is leftover tiny scraps from previous projects (I throw nothing away, even tiny scraps are like treasure to me!) and I used a couple of patterns from Honey Folk Clothing as a starting point for the pouches.
