It's Cosy Toes week over at Twig and Tale so I sewed up these super sweet little Tie Back Boots for my smallest one 🥰
The season is definitely turning isn't it so I'm plannig ahead for autumn. Making warm slipper boots for the family to try and delay putting the heating on for as long as possible 😬
I made the boots using a boiled wool remnant for the outer, the lining is linen and the soles and ties are from a bag of leather offcuts I got off Etsy.
These are surprisingly simple to make, I managed to make them in a day (including the embroidery!).
I will eventually make everyone in the family a pair, so thought I'd start with the smallest and work my way up!
